The HKGBC Retrofitting Hub Launching Ceremony was held successfully at the InnoCentre on 6 May 2025. The HKGBC Retrofitting Hub is now available for the public to access the latest retrofitting strategies, guidelines, case studies related to building energy saving retrofit.

Observed FlatCool Technology benefits other than energy saving:

-Quiet Operation.

-Improve CO2 concentration.

-Improved indoor air environmental quality, e.g. even room temperature without air draught.

-Minimum maintenance.

-Simplified control.

-Increased ceiling headroom (less E&M zone is required for installation).

General observations of the retrofitting project:

-Performance of the “FlatCool” is well received without major complaint.

-The system can operate at 100% fresh air control during high flu seasons or pandemic period.
